Practice Policies

Attendance
- Swimmers are not required to attend practice everyday, but it is recommended that they attend at least three practices per week and they are encouraged to attend as often as possible.

Schedule
- If your swimmer cannot attend at the time slot for his/her age group, please let the coaches know so that they can attempt to accommodate them in the alternate practice time.

Parent Interactions
- While practice is taking place, parents and caregivers should refrain from talking to the coaches so that they may focus on the swimmers. Except in cases of dire emergency, it is also best if parents do not "coach" their own (or other) children during practice.

Inclement Weather
- If there is inclement weather in the area at practice time, please call the WHSC to see if practice is cancelled or delayed. We follow WHSC policies for delays due to lightning, thunder and heavy rain for the safety of our swimmers.
